Dhokra – Green Floral

Dhokra art is one of the oldest form of metal craft prevalent in India. It is as old as 4000 years. The name Dhokra or Dokra art is named after the tribes Dhokra Damar who are the traditional metal Smith’s of West Bengal. But this form of art is now spread almost all over India, Thanks to migration of these tribes, we can find these artifacts as far as Kerala in South to Rajasthan in North. The tribes use special lost wax casting technique using natural metals to create these artifacts.

Our Dhokra collection is a tribute to these brilliant Craftsmen.
